Simulates the flow and temperature distribution in two schemes of devices by Fluent tool, and compares the result with those of site measured data from projects. The results show that the distribution of flue gas on heat exchanging surface is more uniform under the gradual changed section mode, beneficial to heat transfer enhancement, resistance reduction and less material consumption and space occupied. Actual application shows that the flow pattern can reduce noise effectively.
